The Director of Global Manufacturing Strategy leverages their deep experience and expertise in the industry to guide Zebra's strategy and execution in the market. The Vertical Practice Leader/Market Development Leader is a crucial part of ensuring that Zebra remains relevant to our customers and partners on a global basis over the long term. Responsibilities Ownership and facilitation of Zebra's Strategy of Record for their vertical. The Strategy of Record includes strategy development, ongoing strategy evolution, driving operational alignment, etc. Identifies and drives key initiatives in support of core business growth, new solution development, go-to-market strategies, and adjacent market development, while leading execution of operational plan to grow revenue in the market. Analyze data, assess market trends, and translate business needs into actionable sales/marketing programs, while addressing opportunity and innovative product solutions. Drives Zebra's internal community (product, sales, marketing, etc.) and external ecosystem (customers, resellers, software partners, etc.) toward achieving strategic goals Acts as Zebra's industry thought leader, evangelist and company spokesperson supporting regular Press & PR, sales, marketing and customer executive briefings to ensure Zebra is recognized as a thought leader in the vertical Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree required Minimum 15
years experience in strategy, business development or market development Ideal candidate will have experience working for a leading manufacturing(Industrial Machine Vision- ideal) company in IT or operations and as a contributing industry expert to thought leadership organizations and associations Collaborative, dynamic leader able to inspire change in an established company; ability to manage through influence in a matrixed environment Outstanding communication skills - both written & verbal Ability to build cross-functional consensus; lead by example in driving partnership initiatives Significant global travel (25%+) required on a business-needs basis Preferred Qualifications Master's degree preferred Extensive experience developing executive-level business cases for investments in new solutions, segments or use cases Ability to act as the corporate spokesperson / evangelist for Zebra in the industry, including speaking at events and interfacing regularly with media for interviews Creative problem-solver with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to leadership
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
