Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced Property Accountant.
This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to apply their skills and expertise in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
1.
Preparation of monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2.
Performing month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
3.
Managing the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
4.
Providing detailed financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
5.
Preparing annual budgets and conducting regular budget reviews to monitor performance against targets.
6.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits.
7.
Utilizing Yardi or similar property management software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
8.
Collaborating with other team members to drive continuous improvement in financial management and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting in either Real Estate r Property Management.
2.
Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
3.
Proven expertise in preparing financial statements and financial reporting.
4.
Advanced skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
5.
Proficiency in using Yardi or similar property management software.
