Main ResponsibilitiesSupport resolution of Non-Conforming material reportsAssist with test data entry and collection, Material Review Board, sorting and statistical analysisAssist in continuous improvement projectsDay to day support activities but not limited to supplier communication, inspection, sorting,Assist in measurement system analysis on various gaugesUse tools and techniques from Six Sigma, Lean, to analyze and solve problemsAssist Supplier Quality Engineers with reviews of supplier performance data, in evaluation and validation of supplier change requests along with driving improvements in suppliers delivered quality for both new product and existing productsReview returned material and verifies customer complaints through root cause analysisCreate and modify existing systems that track our metricsCreate, improve on documentation such as control plans, FMEAs, WI, and process flowsOther activities as needed by businessThe Ideal CandidateEducation &
Experience:
Associate degree in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering or another technical degree preferred and/or applicable experience in manufacturing settingExperience in developing and following Quality processes, including assembly, test procedures, and inspection plans preferredBasic inspection and hand tool/gauge knowledgeDesired Skills:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and PDF reader (Word, Excel, Adobe/Firefox, Outlook, etc.
)Strong technical background desiredDetail orientated and organizedAbility to read blue prints, technical data sheets, and schematicsAbility to use, calibrate, and test functionality of basic inspection gauges (caliper, pin gauge, height gauge, etc.
