Manage data files, including formatting, testing, manipulating, merging, and cleaning data, as well as handling data-related queries from both internal and external clients; work performed primarily in excel. Support and consult with clients to ensure optimal quality of clients own data inputs to the employee survey process. Would work directly with survey/reporting programmers. Customize and review test scripts and checklists for client projects. Execute or oversee execution of test scripts and checklists for client projects. Use SPSS, SAS, and other related technology tools. Run standard statistical models, including engagement and linkage displays. Provide statistical and analytic support by adding value to ongoing interpretations and suggesting new ways of analyzing data to draw insights that will lead to specific client actions. Ability to use advanced data analyses to identify critical client needs a plus. Inform and support client deliverables, ranging from kick-off materials through reporting and results presentations. Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve processes and tools to facilitate smooth execution of projects

years of related experience working with large data sets. Excellent logical, analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Moderately advanced to advanced excel skills and experience must be able to sort, filter, and format data; solid vlookup and pivot table abilities a must, background with HRIS/employee data a plus. Self-starter who requires minimal direction and handles ambiguity well. Project management skills, primarily being highly organized and having strong time-management abilities. Strong reading and reading comprehension skills including proofreading and editing. Strong interpersonal skills related to collaboration and team building. Relational database, OLAP, software knowledge a plus. Knowledge and experience with standard MS office products, standard/popular database software, and SPSS and other statistical software packages, as well as high familiarity with computers and popular applications.
