What our client wants you to do aka responsibilities

Strong Cisco experience and broader overall network skill set in troubleshooting and deploying various technologies.
Firewalls are valued (Checkpoint specifically), but Cisco experience is an important requirement.
Linux SKILLS ARE A PLUS.

Selling Point:
WAN, 150
Routers, 900
Switches, VOIP, CISCO environment, WLAN network security, Firewalls, CheckPoint, No KIA, ASA.
Will focus on security, Firewalls, networking, architecture implementation, third level support, much diversity as possible.
MPLS, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, TCPIP, ATM Ethernet.
This is a true architect/engineer/Linux systems, administration skills.
40-50% travel.

This position is a team member within the Technology Management team, working closely with all IT verticals to manage, maintain, deploy and support network and security infrastructures.
Candidate must be familiar with the following technologies:
Cisco routing/switching/WLAN/ACE/VOIP/iWan, Checkpoint Firewall, Nagios, Splunk, BlueCoat Internet Proxy.
The individual will be required to perform after hours support and must be able to travel at least 40-50%

Who you are

Must be a self-starter demonstrating the willingness to address/resolve ambiguity and conflict within complex business change projects.

Candidate must be able to travel for site implementations up to a week at a time.

Must be experienced with wiring vendor management and infrastructure deployments

Create and manage Statements of Work (SoW) for cabling and infrastructure jobs

Configure, deploy and document new infrastructure for new facilities, applying rigorous standardized configurations and procedures.

Adhere and champion infrastructure standards

Responsible for location infrastructure deployment and associated project management

Effectively support a wide range of issues, including secure architectures, secure electronic data traffic, network security and privacy to meet customer and business needs.

Coordinate all level 2 network and security changes with appropriate teams to ensure uninterrupted service

Acknowledge and resolve user and system-generated production issues (Remedy Incidents) for assigned applications within established SLOs

Diagnose, identify root cause, and resolve the most unique and complex network and security (level 2) problems

Maintain documentation for all operational/support processes for the systems supported by the Network and Security team; automate repetitive processes where appropriate

Guide successful completion of network security for major programs and may function in a project leadership role

Stay current with new technologies and techniques as appropriate

You also meet most (if not all) of the following requirements:

years' hands-on experience with a broad range of enterprise-class technology solutions.

Must be able to work well in a team environment and manage large project load.

Strong understanding of OSPF and BGP routing protocols

Working experience with TCP/IP, MPLS and Ethernet

Linux/VMware experience desired,

Cisco IPT experience

Cisco Call Center Experience

Must be thorough and detail oriented.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Self-directing individual demonstrating teamwork, organization skills and well-structured working approach given multiple priorities.

Experience working with cross-functional teams

Travel 40-50%

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience.

CCNA technical certification is highly desired; candidates with commensurate experience will be considered

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
